Community Centers
what we do
The City’s Community Centers serve a variety of needs for our residents spanning into the following areas: Community Centers, Special Events, After School Programming, and Community Service & Philanthropy for the City of Socorro.
The team is responsible for the development and management of all community center programming, neighborhood relations, & community engagement for the City of Socorro. The Team coordinates activities with other departments and outside agencies to provide family fun filled opportunities for our residents & surrounding community members to enjoy throughout the year!
By City Policy, absolutely no campaigning or campaign propaganda are allowed in City Community & Recreation Centers nor events held on City Property.

The City of Socorro offers two beautiful centers that provide various programs, activities, and amenities. Our mission is to establish, preserve and maintain facilities and programs that grant the citizens of Socorro holistic opportunities of human development and wellness. The community centers are the heart of the community where all are welcome to enjoy the various programs and services in a friendly, fun, and inclusive atmosphere.
