The Purpose of the City Auditor is aiding the City of Socorro, Texas achieve its objectivity by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. In addition, promote transparency, accountability efficiency and effectiveness.
How to Report Fraud, Waste or Abuse:
The City of Socorro is committed to deterring fraud, waste, or abuse, and maintaining integrity throughout our organization. The following options extend only to the City of Socorro municipal government resources and activities. Any type of fraudulent activity involving private businesses or governmental agencies, other than the City of Socorro, should be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
