The Lower Valley Water District (LVWD) is the entity responsible for the distribution and maintenance of a reliable supply of high-quality drinking water in Socorro, Texas and other outlying communities.

Wastewater
The Lower Valley Water District (LVWD) is the entity responsible for wastewater (sewer) services and infrastructure in Socorro, Texas. The LVWD has used grants and loans from various funding sources to connect hundreds of customers to the wastewater system.

Solid Waste
The Lower Valley Water District (LVWD) is also our local solid waste services provider. The LVWD provides residential solid waste pick up services, commercial solid waste pick up services. The LVWD also partners with the City of Socorro for quarterly community clean up events to keep our community beautiful and keep pollution out of our streets, canals, and public lands.
