what we do
The City of Socorro’s Microtransit Program provides free transportation services to residents within the City of Socorro, Texas. The program offers free pick-ups and drop-offs anywhere within the Socorro city limits or to the Mission Valley Transit Center, helping residents connect to local services, employment, shopping, healthcare, and regional transit.
Unlike traditional bus services, the City’s Microtransit Program does not operate on a fixed route or set pick-up and drop-off locations. Instead, it is an appointment-based transportation service designed to provide flexible and convenient travel options for the community.
Riders must register with the City of Socorro Transit Department prior to using the service. Once registered, riders may schedule trips by contacting the Transit Department.
Appointments must be scheduled at least one (1) hour in advance, and the City will stop accepting ride appointments at 5:00 PM each day.

By City Policy, absolutely no campaigning or campaign propaganda are allowed in or on City Property nor events held on City Property which include City Buses.
