The City of Socorro’s Economic Recovery Office is thrilled to share that El Charlatan Taqueria y Ramen-Ya was recognized as among the Best New Texas Restaurants in 2022 as seen in this article by Pat Sharpe of Texas Monthly in its March edition of Texas Monthly. It was one of only two restaurants in far west Texas that was recognized by this popular magazine. Socorro City Council also passed a resolution recognizing El Charlatan for their exceptional cuisine and contributions to our historic mission trail. Congratulations!
